Used 400 Series Bass head in tweed tolex.
Made in the USA in the mid to late 90's.
There are three important things you should know about this amp.
1) It is LOUD. How loud do you think a 400 watt tube amp is? It's louder than that.
2) It is heavy. Easily a 100 pounds. Probably more.
3) The amp souds INCREDIBLE. ****INCREDIBLE****
The clean channel is reminiscent of a monolithic Ampeg bass amp. While the crunch channel reminds me of a certain Mesa bass amp of numerical similarity.
Tolex shows signs of wear and age. Some scuffs and discoloration.
400 waits @4 ohms and 8 ohms. Impedance is switchable.
Eight 6550 power tubes, one 12AT7 and five 12AX7 preamp tubes
Two Channels: Clean & Crunch. User can select between the to or combine them.
+10dB Input pad.
Compression in/out and LED indicator
Master resonance & presence controls
FX loop send and return

Balanced XLR direct out with pre/post EQ Switch and ground lift switch
Footswitch Jack for channel switching, channel combining and FX Loop in/out (Footswitch not included)
