Roland Phase II

This vintage Roland  AP-2 is housed in an enclosure roughly half the size of the Phase 5 and CE-1. Compact for the day, I suppose.

A good phaser is often described as syrupy, however, the luxurious phaser reminds me more of a rich, dark chocolate. Whether lightly drizzled over the top of your playing or providing a swirling, glaze, it adds complex sweetness to everything it coats. It requires two 9-volt batteries, Ah, such is the cost for such decadent modulated flavor.
